CHICAGO — State Rep. Jaime Andrade, D-Chicago, earned a 100% rating on Citizen Action/Illinois’ Legislative Scorecard for their overall record in the Illinois General Assembly this session. The ratings are based on the key votes for public interest issues in the General Assembly.
“It is an honor to be recognized by Citizen Action and to continue working with them to craft a people-first, forward-thinking legislative agenda,” Andrade said. “As Washington debates slashing Medicaid, ending federal funding for states that stand up to the administration and eliminating lifelines for underserved communities, Illinois is not standing down from these fights. We will continue to protect our schools from gun violence, expand healthcare coverage for critical, lifesaving treatments and help families make ends meet. Our work is far from over.”
Citizen Action Illinois’ 2025 Legislative Scorecard tracks the voting and sponsorship patterns of the Illinois General Assembly’s members as it relates to key issues of state importance. Such issues as safeguarding access to reproductive health medication, expanding parental leave for young families, cracking down on junk fees levied on consumers and passing vital criminal justice reforms are recorded.
